Birthday bowling parties are fun for kids of all ages, even if bowling is a new experience for them, because bumpers are provided at no extra charge.  (Bumpers keep the ball on the lane so pins are knocked down every time.)  And, your party host or hostess will provide all the help you need to insure that your party goes well.  (A 15% gratuity will be added to parties of 17 or more.)
